THEME OVERVIEW
Artists are invited to submit work for Black, White and Everything In Between, an exhibition exploring the expressive power of contrast, nuance, and the full spectrum of interpretation.
This theme invites artists to consider more than color. While black and white can serve as a visual foundation, they can also symbolize duality, balance, conflict, simplicity, memory, identity, truth, ambiguity, and transformation. "Everything in between" encourages exploration of the subtle gradients, emotions, ideas, and experiences that exist beyond extremes.
We welcome artwork that interprets the theme in literal, conceptual, emotional, or abstract ways. Whether your work is monochromatic, richly colorful, or somewhere in between, we encourage thoughtful and creative responses that challenge viewers to look beyond binaries and embrace complexity.
